In Search of The Yellow King’s Fruit: An Aspiring Cultist’s Journey

You are an aspiring Masked Follower. But before the Masked Elder lets you in on the Yellow King’s cult, you will need to prove yourself worthy, and retrieve the Yellow King’s Fruit found above the Yellow Mountain, also known as the Mount of Madness.

In Search of The Yellow King’s Fruit: An Aspiring Cultist’s Journey is a dungeon created for Jam of Cerulea 2024! 

This is my first ever jam community content and I’m grateful for Lucas Falk and Bläckfisk Publishing for allowing me and others to create in their system! Please do support them!

Also, this little adventure module, beyond its Legend of Zelda inspirations, also draws inspiration from Celeste, another lovely pixel video game that centers around personal journeys and overcoming challenges. While the themes of perseverance and adventure may be present (and elements like climbing a mountain for fruit) this content is an original creation and is not affiliated with the creators of Celeste.
